• Armor Correctional Health Services

Armor Correctional Health Services began its journey by pioneering a new approach in healthcare specifically tailored to correctional environments. This marked the creation of a new entity in the healthcare sector and the birth of a mission to dramatically improve medical care in jails, prisons, and federal facilities. From the onset, the organization was fueled by a commitment to excellence, setting out to meet the unique challenges and needs inherent in correctional healthcare.

The initial years were marked by rapid growth and significant achievements. One of the first milestones was securing a county jail contract in 2005, a crucial step that showcased the organization's capabilities and dedication. This early success laid the groundwork for further expansion and recognition within the healthcare industry. By 2006, the company had extended its reach beyond its initial Florida base, forging new partnerships with state prison systems. This expansion was more than just geographical growth; it represented the deepening of its commitment to improving healthcare for a broader incarcerated population.

The period from 2007 to 2009 was a time of notable achievements. During these years, the organization received the prestigious NCCHC Program and Facility of the Year award, which acknowledges its outstanding service and commitment to healthcare excellence within correctional facilities. This accolade was a testament to the organization's efforts and dedication to set a higher standard in correctional healthcare.

In 2010, Armor Correctional Health Services diversified its services, extending its reach to private, secure detention facilities and collaborating with ICE. This strategic move broadened the organization's scope and reinforced its position as a versatile and comprehensive provider of correctional healthcare. By 2015-2018, a major milestone was reached: serving over one million patients. This significant achievement highlighted the scale and impact of the organization's operations.

Under the strategic direction of its Chairman and CEO, the organization continued its upward trajectory, expanding its service offerings and consistently improving the quality of its healthcare services. This period was not just about growth in size but also about deepening the impact and enhancing the lives of those served.
